Alexi Hunter, Kingston Glass and Studio
Alexi Hunter is one of the principals in Kingston Glass and Studio. He has exhibited all along the Southeastern Ontario seaway including the Toronto Outdoor Art Exhibition at Nathan Phillips Square. Alex works often have strong coloration and form as can be seen in the detail from one of his works above.
Also the artist works with metal and glass in novel ways. Laboratory chemists and engineers might find the above glass work stirring underlying beliefs about the nature of reactor containers. The surface of Alex’s works are also alive as can be seen in the dome above and the broad crennelation below.
